At our company, our vision is to serve the needs of our customers in the most economical way possible and to give them information for the future so they can plan for the unexpected. TCS operates on an economy of scale which allows us to deliver expertise that would not be practically obtainable by many companies.
Meet Our Owner
TCS is a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) headed by Barbara Swain. She started TCS in 2004 to bring professional services to the community and, over time, expanded her services far beyond Ohio via government contracting. Today, she continues to oversee the daily management of our arborist company and project planning. She is proud to have led the way for women-owned businesses in the forestry industry.
Meet Our Manager
Our manager, Scott Swain, has worked in the arboriculture industry since 1996. He holds a degree in business administration and has helped some of the nation’s largest electric utility providers with their tree service needs. Serving the communities of southeastern Ohio is his passion. Scott is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist and utility specialist, license number OH-0825. He is also ISA TRAQ Qualified (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification).
Certified Specialists
Our team includes several arborists and utility specialists certified through the International Society of Arboriculture to manage all your arboriculture and forestry needs. Likewise, we have project managers boasting MBA degrees and college-educated foresters ready to handle everything from data collection to oversight.
